Design, planning, community. Each step is as important as the next.  In urban planning, these elements work together and one does not function without the other.  We believe in creating livable communities, in promoting the creation and access to social spaces and in planning with people, not for them. Our expertise lies not only in our skill for planning but in our role as community facilitators.

VFL creates networks needed between community and agency to work together on concepts, projects, and programs. We build a solid base of communication which in turn creates a solid relationship. We feel that a simple, strong relationship between people and agency, community and corporation, is the basis to form a successful planning partnership. This partnership is the platform where decisions are made with inclusive contribution.

We strongly believe in a real collaboration with the community to ensure their participation in the planning process. Our efforst in every step of project design includes community planning efforts.
